Peaceful garden atmosphere

The room view was stunning, but the WiFi was frustratingly unreliable.

Golden Rainbow Hotel felt like a hidden gem nestled in lush greenery. The family room I stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and newly built, allowing for a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of local specialties that I couldn’t get enough of. Kumara, the host, was attentive and helpful, ensuring our needs were met. He even arranged for a tuk-tuk driver named Anura who was both friendly and knowledgeable. Exploring the nearby attractions like the cave temple and Sigiriya Rock was a breeze from this location. The only downside was the WiFi, which wasn't reliable. Some outdoor hammocks in the beautiful garden would have added to the relaxation vibe. this place is perfect for anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying warm hospitality.

We loved the beautiful garden setting and the spacious family room with a fantastic view. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, featuring local delicacies that we enjoyed together, even with our beloved pet joining us for our stay. We also had a great safari trip organized by the host.

My children wished for insect nets on the windows for more airflow while sleeping.

our stay at golden rainbow was amazing! the location surrounded by nature is calming, and the family made us feel so welcome. the breakfast was exceptional, with fresh local dishes and a variety of choices. we also enjoyed the delicious rice and curry dinner, which was a great option after a long day exploring.

The host, Kumare, truly exceeded our expectations during our 5 nights stay. Breakfasts were a highlight, featuring exquisite dishes prepared with love by his talented wife. We enjoyed breathtaking views of the garden from our room, which was both serene and beautifully maintained.

i stayed at golden rainbow for two nights, and it was a wonderful experience! the location is perfect, just a short walk up a small hill to watch sunrise. the included breakfast was fulfilling, and kumara, the host, was super friendly, making sure all my needs were met.
